We are currently seeking  Fire Alarm Technicians for the Medford & West Springfield locations. This position requires the ability to service, inspect and repair fire alarm for established customers on a scheduled basis.  Job duties include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards, performing on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/ GED required
  • NICET certification preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable fire codes and regulations
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Class D License required
  • Ability to be available on-call when scheduled required

Fire Sprinkler Technician

We are currently seeking  Fire Sprinkler Technicians for the Medford & West Springfield locations. This position requires the ability to service, inspect and repair sprinkler systems and fire pumps for established customers on a scheduled basis. Job duties include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards, performing on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and report. Duties may also include installing fire sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled service calls to customer’s satisfaction.
  • Test fire sprinkler systems and fire pumps.
  • Perform on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Perform duties of on-call shifts in a rotating schedule.
  • Prepare accurate and timely service tickets and reports.
  • Assist in the installation of fire sprinkler systems.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • NICET certification preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable fire codes and regulations
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • MA Journeyman sprinkler license

Inside Sales Representative

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team in Medford, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Identify existing FEI customers through the use of our customer management software and contact those customers to schedule sales appointments for the FEI sales team.
  • Develop a list of customer prospects (non-customers) through the use of lead & marketing lists and schedule sales appointments for members of the FEI sales team.
  • Manage and maintain detailed opportunity tracking of appointments scheduled and opportunities won.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales & marketing campaigns
  • Advancement opportunities for inside or outside sales positions
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, setting appointments or inside sales
  • Articulate and professional with an enthusiastic attitude and a focus on results
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com preferred
  • Basic knowledge of fire protection or fire alarm services preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal, written, phone and listening skills
  • Must be highly reliable and motivated to excel

Sales Coordinator

We are currently seeking an Sales Coordinator to join our growing team in Medford, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, contact and schedule appointments for new prospect through the use of lead & marketing lists.
  • Responsible for scheduling qualified appointments with current customers through the use of our award-winning customer management software
  • Document all scheduled appointments and leads distributed to sales team
  • Follow-up on quoted sales opportunities & provide feedback to sales team
  • Qualify all inbound sales activity and redistribute to the appropriate sales representative(s)
  • Perform routine follow-up with the sales team to ensure customer inquiries have been addressed
  • Maintains knowledge of products and services

Fire Alarm Sales Engineer

We are currently seeking Fire Alarm Sales Engineers for the Medford &  West Springfield locations.

Responsibilities

  •  Achieves new order booking and profitability goals
  • Develops and facilitates long-term relationships with Electrical Contractors for the purposes of driving equipment sales
  • Identifies new opportunities utilizing appropriate prospecting techniques
  • Prepares proposals, quotations and contracts
  • Conducts site surveys and pre-bid walk throughs as needed to determine scope of job, to include time, materials and labor
  • Prepares timely and accurate responses to RFQ’s
  • Responsible for the production and review of narratives, drawings and specifications
  • Follows through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory turn-over to operations
  • Participates in team selling strategies with Service Sales Reps
  • Processes orders and completes all paperwork in accordance with standardized procedures
  • Works to ensure that all paperwork is completed according to customer commitments
  • Maintains knowledge of products and service
Qualifications

  •  At least five (5) years in related experience
  • NICET Preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of Building Codes, Fire Alarm Codes & NFPA standards
  • Highly skilled is fire alarm system design
  • Superior organizational skills & attention to detail
  • Unquestionable integrity with a superior work-ethic
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Possess a strong technical background and strong knowledge of electrical  systems including lighting, fire alarm, and power distribution for various institutional, medical, laboratory, commercial, and public buildings in the healthcare, biotech, higher education, office, large mixed-use residential buildings, and hotel markets
