Fire Alarm Technician

We are currently seeking a Fire Alarm Technician who also has an interest in pursuing a license in clean agent fire suppression. This position requires the ability to service, inspect and repair fire alarm and clean agent systems for established customers on a scheduled basis. Job duties include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards, performing on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports.

Qualifications

 

 

  • High School Diploma/ GED required
  • NICET certification preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable fire codes and regulations
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Class D License required
  • Ability to be available on-call when scheduled required

This person must be able to climb ladders and endure excessive standing, walking and bending.

  • MA Certificate of Competency #46
  • Hydrostatic certificate preferred
  • Must maintain a valid and clean driving license & record

Fire Sprinkler Technician

We are currently seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician. This position requires the ability to service, inspect and repair sprinkler systems and fire pumps for established customers on a scheduled basis. Job duties include conducting service calls, systems testing and inspections to the prescribed standards, performing on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely service tickets and report. Duties may also include installing fire sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct scheduled service calls to customer’s satisfaction.
  • Test fire sprinkler systems and fire pumps.
  • Perform on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Perform duties of on-call shifts in a rotating schedule.
  • Prepare accurate and timely service tickets and reports.
  • Assist in the installation of fire sprinkler systems.
Qualifications

 

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required
    • NICET certification preferred
    • Knowledge of applicable fire codes and regulations
    • Valid Drivers License required
    • Minimum 5 years experience
    • MA Journeyman sprinkler license

Sales Representative

We are currently seeking Sales Representatives to join our growing team in the Central & Western MA areas.

Responsibilities

 

      • Working with a base of existing customers to upsell FEI’s Testing & Inspection services.
      • Develop new business by identifying qualified prospects through networking, prospecting, cold-calling & creative lead generation with end-user customers.
      • Provide timely and effective sales presentations to prospective customers.
      • Exhibits a thorough knowledge of all services, pricing procedures and strategies to ensure that contract estimates are accurate and will deliver the expected return
      • Manage and maintain a detailed opportunity pipeline & achieve assigned monthly quota
      • Utilize Salseforce to forecast and track all sales activities
      • Maintain customer retention by delivering FEI’s highly acclaimed service & support
      • Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
Qualifications

 

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred
      • 3-5 years of experience in an outside sales role
      • Articulate and professional with an enthusiastic attitude and a focus on result
      • Familiarity with Salesforce.com preferred
      • Industry experience a HUGE plus but not required
      • Service contract sales experience required
      • Strong interpersonal, written, phone and listening skills

Fire Protection Engineer

We are currently seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join our growing team in Medford, MA.

Responsibilities

        • Automatic fire suppression system design
        • Perform analyses of existing fire protection as well as design new fire protection systems:
          • Fire Detection
          • Sprinkler
          • Special Hazard
        • Perform engineering evaluations and analyses
        • Perform fire hazard analyses
        • Document code compliance evaluations, including submittals for approval of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
        • Provide engineering support for fire protection system infrastructure upgrades, including water-based, fire alarm, and special hazard systems.
        • Participate in sales activities:
          • Identify sales opportunities through new business development (cold-calling/prospecting)
          • Identify sales opportunities, working with the FEI customer base
          • Network with electrical contractors & participate in bid opportunities
Qualifications

              • Bachelor’s degree (BS) preferred
              • 5 years’ experience (or equivalent combination of education & experience) in fire protection
              • Articulate and professional with an enthusiastic attitude and a focus on result
              • Intermediate level computer skills & MS office
              • Working knowledge of CAD
